The company says it reaches that fair price after its experts objectively determine their value based on the quality, size, rarity, value and marketability of each item.  It also guarantees that if sellers are not happy with their payment, they could always notify Red Swan at 1-888-309-SWAN and get their items back, provided that they do so within 10 days of the date reflected on the check and return the check to Red Swan.

Redswan.com has a solid presence in the media. The Rachel Ray Show and the The Today Show are two of the television programs that have put their spotlight on Red Swan,  while publications that have featured articles concerning the company include the New York Daily News and Reader’s Digest.

The Process

  1. Request for a pre-addressed and postage-paid Safe-Pak Starter Kit through the online form found in its website.
  2. When your Safe-Pak arrives, take all your scrap gold and put it in the enclosed box, fill out the Item Submission Form, and drop it in the mail.
  3. Red Swan experts will appraise the items you have sent once the Safe-Pak reaches them.
  4. A check indicating the appraised value of your items will be promptly mailed to you.
